This was just dipping my toe into Deception Pass since I was there for a Rolling Class. At the end of my class we paddled out of Lottie Bay into the Northwest Passage entrance to Deception Pass right about the peak flood current of 4.3 knots. We weren’t in any crazy tide races or eddies but it had been a stormy night and morning so conditions were “sporty” and fun. Just a few minute into to Deception Pass, but I’ll return when I can.
